Travis Barker and his estranged Blink-182 bandmates are back in contact. Blink-182 member Mark Hoppus blogs on Barker’s recovery from September’s tragic plane crash and discusses the prospects of a band reunion!
"We’re just reconnecting as friends after four years of not talking," Hoppus says on his blog. "It’s a good thing. Obviously the first question for a lot of people will be, ‘Does this mean a Blink-182 reunion?’ The answer is none of us know. We haven’t talked about it at all. Right now it’s just good for the three of us to see one another, reconnect and let the past be the past."
Mark adds in the blog: "I’m also so thankful that Travis and DJ AM made it out of the plane that horrible night. Travis is a brother to me, and since the crash he has gone through more than I can even imagine. From the day after the plane went down, when I saw him in the burn unit out in Georgia, to the hospital here in L.A., to seeing him at home, his recovery is nothing short of amazing. Every day gets a little better."

Depending upon the care giver, the child (or children) will probably receive better and more personal individual care. The child will be comfortable in a familiar setting. The Parent(s), not the institution, can control the diet and food quality. If there is a child with a contagious illness, the home cared child will not be exposed to it. The advantages seem obvious.

Research studies in Copenhagen, from the Danish Institute of Cancer Epidemiology, the National Cancer Institute, and the Institute of Cancer Research, do not establish any link between cancer and cell phone usage. However, an intergovernmental agency IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer) forming part of the World Health Organization of the United Nations, undertook a study of 4,500 users and found a statistically significant link between cell phone usage and tumor frequency. Celebs come out to celebrate and enjoy Billy Elliot the Musical’s opening night on Broadway! Mega-watt stars like Rosie O’Donnell, Kevin Spacey, and Mario Cantone join show creator Sir Elton John for the first night of Broadway’s newest musical.
Billy Elliot the Musical is based on the British sleeper film ‘Billy Elliot,’ which hit theaters to rave reviews in 2000. The film caught the eye of many, including Sir Elton John, who decided to adapt it for the stage. The "Rocket Man" composed the music for the show, which has been playing in London’s West End since 2005. The musical won four Laurence Olivier Awards — the highest honor in British theatre — and its success in England led John to bring it to the States.
The story follows a young boy who, in an unlikely turn of events, finds himself turning in his boxing gloves for dancing shoes much to the dismay of his tough-minded father. Set against the historic backdrop of the 1980s coal miners’ strike in Northern England, the triumphant musical tells the tale of young Billy who battles against all odds to achieve his dream of becoming a dancer.
